Getting Started
With our large network of agricultural producers and energy crop trials, Ceres is available to help power generators conduct test burns and identify sources for biomass. In some cases, we can provide test quantities from our own production plots. Ceres can also work with you to determine optimal crops and varieties for your specific boiler type.
Field trials are the best way to get started. They provide local, real-world data for:
- Yield and other performance characteristics
- Compositional attributes
- Establishment, management and harvest practices
- Biomass availability over the course of the season
- Delivered feedstock economics
