Ceres is also a major technology provider to market leaders outside of dedicated energy crops.

Since 2002, we have leveraged our capabilities into traditional row crops, such as corn and soybean, through a multi-year, $137 million agreement with Monsanto.

The deal — the largest in the plant genomics industry — has been a key validation of our genomics and trait development capabilities. As part of this broad collaboration, Monsanto obtained a royalty-bearing license to a large number of lead genes for commercialization in selected row crops.

We continue to explore new commercial relationships to leverage our proprietary technology platforms with market leaders in areas outside of dedicated energy crops.
